Modifying the exterior of your property?
Before you swap out your front door, apply a German schmear, update your fence, or make any other modifications to the outside of your home or property, follow the steps below to ensure your updates fall within the Westchester Architectural Control Guidelines.

1 Search the Certified Architectural Control Guidelines to see if your desired change follows the rules.
2 Once you're confident they do, submit an Exterior Modification Request via the Crest portal.

Remember, these guidelines apply to things like basketball goals, birdhouses, lighting and cameras, play structures, political signs, solar panels, and trees, in addition to larger construction and concrete projects.
